Dragoş Petrescu

City Grill Group

Dragoș Petrescu, a self-made entrepreneur, started from scratch and has become a key figure in the HoReCa industry, leading City Grill, the largest traditional restaurant chain in Romania.

A pioneer of entrepreneurship in the 1990s, Dragoș emphasizes education and hands-on experience. Along with Daniel Mischie, he co-founded the City Grill Group in 2004 and has become a major player in Bucharest’s delivery market with City Grill Delivery, launched in 2020.

He’s also an investor on "Imperiul Leilor" (the Romanian version of Shark Tank) and supports young entrepreneurs through the "Vreau să fiu Antreprenor" (VSFA) project.

Farrah Rose

The Franchising Centre

Farrah Rose has over 40 years of experience in international franchising. Founder of the largest franchise consulting firm in Europe and a multi-award-winning consultant, Farrah has become a leading voice for women and minorities in the industry.

Recognized internationally as an expert in franchise development, she has worked with companies such as Arcadia Group and Burger King. Currently, she provides consulting services to businesses in over 90 countries and serves as an Associate Director at GNF Worldwide.

Farrah is a frequent speaker at franchise and women-in-business conferences, regularly contributing to international magazines. She is also an investor on "Imperiul Leilor" and supports young entrepreneurs.

Cristian Onețiu

Unicorp Ventures

Cristian Onețiu is a Forbes Top 500 entrepreneur, ScaleUp business mentor, accredited investor, and best-selling author.

As the founder of Life Care, one of the largest direct sales companies in Central and Eastern Europe, Cristian also appeared as an investor on the show “Lion’s Empire” (season 1).

A senator at the World Business Angels Forum, he has mentored over 1,000 entrepreneurs and was voted “the most influential Romanian entrepreneur” in the 2019 Startup Monitor. He is the author of the successful books "Start in Entrepreneurship" and "How I Changed My Life in 4 Days" and the creator of the business game “startUp RACE.”

Radu Savopol

5 to go

Radu Savopol, co-founder of 5 to go, is an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the HoReCa industry. In 2015, he launched the 5 to go brand, which quickly grew to over 500 coffee shops in Romania. An architect by profession and passionate about art, Radu brought a creative touch to the brand, contributing to the welcoming design of the cafés.

In 2024, 5 to go plans to exceed 600 locations, expanding into new cities and international markets such as Slovakia and Bulgaria. Radu is also developing the brand's retail division, offering private label products and an almost-launched digital app, aiming for significant business growth in the coming years.

Raluca Voicu

Franchwise

Raluca Voicu, Senior Consultant in the Development Department, is one of the most experienced franchise consultants in Romania, with over 10 years of experience. Having grown up in the franchise world, she has served as a franchise manager for one of the largest Food & Beverage groups in Romania.

Raluca has been involved in numerous franchise import and business development projects. She has successfully convinced over 30 Romanian brands to collaborate exclusively with her team for growth through viable franchise partners. Recently, she has focused on developing a recruitment process for carefully selecting franchise partners, based not only on financial resources but also on essential skills for success.

Călin Iepure

Bizz.club

As the CEO of BIZZ.CLUB Romania, one of the most active networking clubs in the country, he facilitates valuable connections between entrepreneurs, helping them grow their businesses.

A national Public Speaking champion in 2011 and former coordinator of Toastmasters Romania, Călin is a renowned speaker. He founded SELLification, an educational community with over 30,000 members, focused on developing sales and leadership skills.

In addition to his role at BIZZ.CLUB, he is a partner in various businesses and serves as a consultant on entrepreneurial projects, specializing in negotiation, persuasion, and sales.

Dan Fărcăşanu

Mozaik Investments

Dan has over 25 years of experience in private equity and corporate finance across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Romania. Currently, he is a partner at Mozaik Investments and has previously worked with international companies such as The Carlyle Group, Resource Partners, GED, and Global Finance. He has executed transactions in a wide range of industries, including fitness, telecommunications, retail, tourism, hospitality, and printing.

Dan brings expertise in M&A, equity and debt financing, and capital structures. He has held board positions across various industries and private equity associations. He is a member of YPO, RBL, TechAngels, and Endeavour Romania. Dan is passionate about chess, history, fitness, and investments.

David Ellison

Harry Ramsden's

David Ellison is the COO and a board member at Harry Ramsden’s, with over 25 years of experience in retail and the food service industry. With extensive expertise in start-ups, SMEs, and blue-chip organizations, he has been part of senior management teams in some of the most successful businesses in QSR, casual dining, and food tech.

In his role at Harry Ramsden’s, David is responsible for team performance and delivering results for shareholders and partners. He also oversees the franchise and licensing division, recruiting new franchisees and supporting them in achieving their goals.

Previously, he held leadership positions at brands such as Pret A Manger, Black Sheep Coffee, Honest Burgers, and Taster.

Irina Vasile

Lexters

Irina leads the intellectual property and franchise practice at Lexters, providing strategic advice in complex franchise disputes, trademark protection, and intellectual property licensing, both in Romania and internationally.

In the franchise field, she advises Romanian entrepreneurial companies expanding into international markets, being involved in structuring transactions and in all stages of dispute avoidance and resolution. She represents top companies across various industries, assisting with franchise, distribution, and supply agreements, as well as protecting trade secrets and know-how.

Additionally, she offers guidance on managing franchisee/licensee performance issues and strategies to prevent conflicts within franchise or licensing networks.

Răzvan Cuc

RE/MAX

Răzvan, an entrepreneur at heart, holds the master franchise for RE/MAX in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, part of the global leader in real estate.

With over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience, he has been involved in retail, telecom, services, construction, and real estate development. In the past 10 years, he has focused on expanding the RE/MAX network, which now has over 700 members in Romania.

RE/MAX is the largest network of franchised real estate agencies, offering its members a strong brand, top professional education, and access to the largest global network of real estate agents.

Vincent ROCHEFORT

Carrefour

Vincent Rochefort has been with Carrefour for over 30 years. He has held various roles in France, including in hypermarkets, supermarkets, and proximity stores.

Between 1999 and 2003, he developed the first supermarkets in Poland and was the Marketing Director until 2006. In 2007, he returned to France as Operations Director for the Proximity format, managing the rebranding to Carrefour City and Carrefour Express.

In 2014, he became Trade Marketing Director in Italy. Since 2018, he has been the Proximity Director at Carrefour Romania, focusing on developing the Proximity format and the Carrefour Express franchise.

Oscar Iglesias

Folder

Oscar, co-founder and owner of Folder Papelerías, brings with him over 25 years of experience in the office supplies and stationery industry, dedicated to improving efficiency, productivity, and organization in offices, schools, and homes.

After earning a Business degree from Suffolk University in Boston in 1993, Oscar returned to Spain to begin his career in office supplies, investing in and working at Carlin.

In 2004, he co-founded Folder with his family, aiming to elevate the office supply purchasing experience. Over the past 20 years, Folder has expanded to over 160 locations in Spain and Romania, becoming a leading company in Spain and ranking third in Europe.

Marius Geavlete

Bitcoin Romania

With over 25 years of experience in financial services and later in e-commerce, he is an expert in the progressive development of a business.

An entrepreneur himself, he provides "know-how" to companies operating at a fast and dynamic pace, offering solutions for organizing and monitoring operational workflows at a network level.

Responsible for the growth and development of partnerships, particularly through franchise agreements for Bitcoin Romania, he applies the expertise gained from international collaborations.

Marius is present at the event to introduce a unique national franchise model, which involves minimal operating costs and continuously increasing revenues.

Daniela Bololoi

Daniela Bololoi este președinta Asociației Help Autism, cea mai mare asociație dedicată cauzei tulburărilor de spectru autist din România. Motivată de experiența personală de a fi mama unui băiat cu autism, în 2010 a înființat asociația care a crescut organic până la cere 7 centre de terapie din București și din țară, sprijinind peste 3200 de copii și tineri.

În octombrie 2023, după o muncă susținută timp de 10 ani, a reușit, alături de echipă și de partenerii săi să introducă terapia persoanelor cu autism în pachetul de servicii decontate prin CNAS prin Subprogramul National pe TSA.

Daniela este psiholog clinician, analist comportamental, psihoterapeut și președinta Rețelei Ro TSA, formată din peste 160 de organizații.
